Damn what a night….being in a crowd of 65,000 people on a sunny day in July is pretty mental and being there with friends even better. Watching the foo fighters churn out a high energy and top quality performance for nearly 3 hours (after already seeing the hot rats, jimmy eat world and biffy clyro) and then end the whole night with Jean Paul Jones (from Led Zep) & Seasick Steve jamming with Dave Grohl is just…well….very nice :0)
Picture above taken this morning on the way to a recovery brekkie with Chloe (who did a sterling job driving us all back at 3 this morning). Completely shattered but flippin’ glad I was there. I’ve linked a few videos (not from me) below that give a taste of the show but don’t even scratch the surface of how cool it was. I may add some more later as better ones appear on youtube.
